Object Description
Chinese Buddhist Vidya-raja (Mayurasana) cloisonné figure. The figure is shown seated atop a cloisonné peacock stand. The object is decorated in multicolored enamels on a blue background. A small Buddha figure is attached to the bronze openwork lotus symbol, and the peacock feathers are represented by the bronze openwork. There is a round object held in the figure's left hand, and a hole is drilled in his right hand for a now missing object.
