Alternate Title: Tokyo Meisho-zu

From the series "Tokyo Meisho-zu" (Pictures of Famous Places in Tokyo). "Meiji juyon nen ichi gatsu nijuroku nichi shukka" (Outbreak of Fire on 26 January 1881). "Hamacho yori utsushita Ryogoku taika" (The Great Fire on Ryogoku Bridge, as sketched from Hamacho).

This is a re-carved edition. The print was originally created in 1881. This version was made in the 1950s.

The work bears the artist's signature, "Kobayashi Kiyochika," and "Kobayashi Kiyochika" is printed on the right margin.
