Commentary
From the series, "Osaka Fukei," ("Scenery of Osaka"). Kozu Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Nintoku The print comes with a copy of the index of the series, which notes, "The artist Rinsaku Akamatsu, an authority on Western-style painting in Japan, selected these 24 views of Osaka, known for their scenic beauty in Pre-War days."
