Commentary
From the series, "Osaka Fukei," ("Scenery of Osaka"). No. 7, Zoo at Tenno-ji. The note on the index of the series states, "The artist Rinsaku Akamatsu, who is an authority on Western-style painting in Japan, selected these 24 views of Osaka, which were most known for their scenery in pre-war days."
