Commentary
The St. Nicholai Cathedral was founded in 1891 as the first Orthodox Church in Japan. It still exists in Jimbocho, Kanda in Tokyo. It was designated as an "Important Cultural Asset" in Japan and it still stands near the Jinbocho book dealers' area at Kanda in Tokyo.
