"Nihonbashi" in Tokyo, Japan is one of the busiest commercial districts in the country. It was the starting point of the ancient Tokaido Highway in the Edo era.

"K. Hasegawa" in pencil on the lower right with the artist's seal in red ink. "'83" in pencil, lower left, with Japanese characters in pencil next to the year.
