Commentary
"Hana no En" (Flower Party): Prince Genji is meeting a Lady of Chamber, Oborotsukiyo, in the evening of the cherry blossom viewing banquet at the Hall of Shishiden. The "Tale of Genji" is a literary masterpiece, which tells of the intrigue and human drama in the ancient Heian court. This work inspired countless literary works and artworks in subsequent generations.
