Commentary
This is part of three sets of six prints each of Noh theater prints published by Kyoto Hanga-in in 1955.

This play is supposed to be the holiest of all noh plays and is usually performed on New Year's Day. In the play, the old man gives a blessing for peace for the era and a blessing for the welfare of the nation.
