Object Description
Unlike most of the works in the album, this is a vertical composition. It is a studio image. A woman in traditional dress stands in the foreground, in what appears to be snow. Behind her, there is a plain backdrop. The woman wears high wooden sandals that keep her feet out of the snow. She wears a long, dark, wide-sleeved coat, fastened with bright pink frog fasteners. Her head is covered with a light gray scarf. Her face is framed by the dark umbrella she holds. To her right is a rustic wooden fence and a bit of a pine tree; to her right, a pile of wood with a dusting of snow on top. The woman's gaze is to the viewer's left, her expression serious.
