Object Description
Vertical color woodblock print from the series "Beauties and the Seven Bright Flowers" (Bijin shichi yoka). The court lady Marikoji Yoshiko, Fourth Rank Second Grade, carries a small ceremonial wooden stand. Pink begonias bloom behind her. Her white robe is embossed with a rhombus pattern.
