Object Description
From the series "Shin Nigao" (New Portraits). Kabuki actor Onoe Matsusuke in the role of hunter Chosuke. "Shin Nigao" was a short-lived magazine series started in 1915 for 5 issues. Several artists contributed one or two prints for the series which showcased more individual approaches to actors' portraits.
