Black and white print from page 163 of the April 6, 1889 issue of Punch, or The London Charivari depicting a robed and helmeted figure holding a spear and mourning over the tomb of John Bright, Quaker M.P. (Member of Parliament), known as a great reformer and orator.

The caption reads:
John Bright.
Born, Nov. 16, 1811 Died, March 27, 1889
"The trumpet's silver sound is stilled!"
