Copper filigree with, Kingfisher feather, pearls, rose quartz, coral, and jade.

Object Description
Four pronged two-sided hairpiece, with Chinese Kingfisher feather. Decorated with butterfly and floral imagery and moving parts. The ornament was intended to quiver when worn. Butterfly imagery is often associated with bridal ornamentation. The piece functioned to hold hair in place in addition to its ornamental function.
