Object Description
Chinese cloisonée standing braying donkey, with a separate lid at the center if the back, which lifts with a central knob to reveal a container. Decorated with a vine and scroll pattern in dark green, white, dark red, and gold on a turquoise ground. The interior is unenamelled. There are gold stripes on the donkey's belly, and his chest has texture formed in the metal. He has a U-shaped tail.
