Multicolored enamels, glitter, and a thin layer of gilding on a cast copper base.
Small Japanese cloisonée lidded vase decorated with flowers, butterflies, and phoenix within roundels, around the central area. The neck is decorated with a floral pattern against a yellow ground. There are red and green enamel bands around the top and bottom of the vase. The main ground on the object is a copper glitter. The lid is a triangular shape with a flower knob, and it is decorated with a floral pattern on a mustard yellow ground. The interior of the vase and lid are coated in turquoise enamel.
