There is a label on the bottom of the pot which reads: "SFB20/27-5/2-25-65," and one on the inside of the lid which reads: "297 STRN/27-5/5-1-64."

Multicolored enamels and glitter on a cast copper base.

Object Description
Round Japanese cloisonée lidded teapot, with a floral pattern and tao signs executed in multicolored enamels on a black ground. There are spiral cloisons on the ground. The lid is topped with a flower shaped knob. The lid interior is coated with turquoise enamel, the pot interior is coated with green enamel.
