Object Description
Cylindrical Japanese cloisonée vase with a narrow neck and fluted mouth. The vase has a domed lid with a daisy shaped knob. The objects are decorated with a floral and butterfly pattern within roundels against a copper glitter ground. A band of turquoise separates the design on the body from a floral pattern with a copper glitter ground at the base and top of the vase. There is gilding on the rim of the lid and on the bottom of the vase.
