Pair of Chinese Cloisonné Turquoise Dogs, 20th c.

The stands measure: 1 x 4 3/4 x 2 inches.
There is a sticker on dog "a" which reads: "56x/68/T-W/EVF/9-11." A sticker on dog "b" reads: "56y/68/T-W/EVF/9-11."
Multicolored enamels and gilding on a cast copper base. Accompanied by stained wooden stands.
Pair of turquoise ground Japanese cloisonée dogs. The dogs are seated like sphinx, and wear charm collars. Their mouths are open, and a dark blue stripe runs from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail down the back of each dog. The tips of the toes are gilded. There is a hole on the bottom of each dog. Accompanied by wood stands.
