There are two labels on the bottom of the object, which read: "14-21," and "2B/SHAN/20/10-5-63." A small, circular sticker on the upper area of the exterior reads "B 14/21." "Made in China" is stamped into the metal on the bottom of the vase.

Cylindrical Chinese cloisonée vase with a stylized floral decoration or chrysanthemums in orange, green, white and dark red and lilies in orange and yellow, executed on a dark reddish-brown ground.
