There is a sticker on the top side of the saucer, which reads: "45/1292M 2 of 2." There are no markings on the cup.

Cast copper plate and cup with a design executed in multicolored enamels and gold cloisons. The interior of the cup is gilded.

Object Description
Japanese cloisonée teacup and saucer with floral decoration (some in roundels) against a black ground with curling cloisons. The lower area of the cup has a border of olive enamel with fish-scale patterned cloisons, followed by red and then cobalt bands. The top edge has a band of red enamel followed by green enamel with large round scrolled cloisons and then another thin band of red with circular cloisons. The interior of the cup is gilded. The saucer has an identical pattern to the cup on the top side, and a green vine against a black ground on the bottom, with green gloss enamel in the center.
