Object Description
Small teapot with a daisy-type floral pattern executed in multicolored enamels (cobalt, turquoise, orange, green, yellow and purple), over glitter, against a black enamel ground with circular cloisons on the handle and spout. The handle is edged in green enamel, as is the tip of the spout and upper edge of the pot. The green is followed by a brick red band on the top and bottom of the pot, and the red at the bottom has a fish-scale pattern in the cloisons. The lid is decorated with yellow and pink butterflies in a green enamel and glitter ground near the center, and in cobalt with black and turquoise dots around the outer area. The edge of the lid is black enamel with circular cloisons. A flower-shaped knob is on top. The interior of both pot and lid are coated in black gloss enamel.
