There is a label on the bottom of the box which reads: "3-24," and there is a label on the interior of the lid which reads: NY67-2/HOR/WU/8-18."
Medium
The sides are executed with bits of white enamel against a turquoise ground, and the lid is executed in multicolored enamel decoration against a glittered copper ground. The enamel is afixed to a cast copper base.
Object Description
Small oval-shaped box with lid. The sides of the box are decorated with white enamel filled butterflies and a floral pattern composed of cloisons, against a turquoise enamel ground. The top has two multicolored enamel butterflies against a glitter filled copper ground. The interior of box and lid and the bottom of the box are coated in turquoise gloss enamel.
