There are two labels on the bottom of the object, which read: "3-20" and "2NY16/BRNK/15/7-27-65."

Multicolored enamels on a yellow enamel ground over foil. Cast copper base with some gilding.

Object Description
Small, rounded Japanese cloisonné container with a subdued multicolored floral pattern on a yellow/gold ground. The object has a thin layer of green enamel on the interior, and no lid. It is gilded on the bottom, and around the top edge, where it is now nearly worn away.
