There is a label the tail of one bird which reads: "73/LEE/UF2," and another on the tail which reads "102X. There is also a label on the belly of the same object which reads "73/102X/JAD/UF2/10-9. The other crane has a label on the tail which reads: "LEE73/UF2" and another on the tail which reads "Y1-10." A sticker on the belly reads "73/102Y/JAD/UFZ/10-9." There is also the number "85 (or 58)" written on the tail in blue on each bird. There are labels on each stand which read "102X" and "102Y," respectively.

Teal green, blue, yellow and pink enamels on a white enamel ground, on cast copper, with gilding. Accompanied by fitted lacquered wooden stands.

Object Description
Pair of containers modelled after cranes. Exact duplicates, with multicolored enamelled accents on a white enamel ground. The beaks, feet, and tails are gilded. The wings and tails serve as a top which fits into the bird to form a container.l
