There is a Chinese inscription carved into the metal on the base, and three labels on the base. The labels read: "15", "M/16", and "KK/FF2/9-66."

Object Description
Hollow cast model of a green enamel cloisonée parrot, perched upon (cast into) a rock, of cobalt, green, yellow and white. The parrot has a stripe of yellow, lighter green and pink on it's belly, and yellow and turquoise highlights on it's back feathers.
