Hollow cast bronze with remnants of gilding.
Object Description
Mirror holder in the shape of a goat, with a long beard and one central horn. The goat is seated and is contorted with the head facing backward and the forearms flailed in odd positions. On the animal's back rests a crescent, on which a mirror can be inserted. The object has a design etched where a saddle would lie, and this and a few other areas were once gilded.
