Hand-formed of earthenware clay, with a dark green celadon glaze.

Object Description
Thick-walled small hand-formed earthenware bowl with a heavy dark celadon green glaze covering all but the foot of the bowl. The glaze is cracked in several places, especially around the edge. The clay was scalloped - but the ridges cannot be felt through the heavy glaze. There is a line pattern impressed onto the exterior. Excavated in the Philippine Islands.
