Object Description
Two matching earthenware lamp bases, with thick walls. The bases are ball-shaped, with small dome lids. They are glazed in cobalt, beige, brown and green. The decoration consists of two flowers, opposite each other, with an empty, raised rectangle between the flowers on one side (in cobalt on one container and brown on the other), and a brown seal on the other side. All the decoration is raised from the surface. There are also four raised wavy pieces near the top, spaced evenly around, like handles. There is a hole in the top of the lid on both. The containers are roughly formed and glazed.
