"L1770/90" is written on the foot. A sticker reading "Made in China" is on the foot, along with a seal in red, with the emperor Jiaqing's name, dating the piece to the early 19th century.

Cast porcelain with painted enamel decoration and gold overglaze.

Object Description
Medium sized porcelain bowl with gold applied to the top edge and a white interior. The exterior is decorated with poems and scenes from the poetry, in many colors against a white background. The text, called Gong Ju, illustrates stories of farming and weaving. It was commonly portrayed on palace objects to remind the Emperer of his obligations. The top edge is slightly scalloped, and the bowl stands on a foot.
