Object Description
Large, cylindrical Chinese cloisonné vase with a slight bulb near the top, a narrower foot and neck, and a fluted base and mouth. The vase is decorated with a stylized dragon, phoenix, and floral pattern in multicolored enamels on panles in jewel tones with gold flecks. The panels are set against a dark blue field. Overall the vase has six bands of design plus a stylized floral band on the top edge and base. The colors are bright and bold. The presence of pink enamel indicates a late Ch'ing dynasty dating.
