Probably coil-built terracotta, with a red slip and black painted glyphs.
Object Description
Large Aztec late post-classic style urn. A red slip was applied and then the design was scratched into the surface and areas were filled in with black, to form black glyphs. These were used for cooking, and often sacrificial.
