Old numbers associated with the piece are: HM20, HM6, 8 and 50.
Marks
There is a label on the piece that reads "50" and again "50" in red pencil. There are two old accession labels that read: "HM20" and "HM6". The number "8" is written on the pot in pencil.

Object Description
Bulbous pot with a tiny opening at the top. It is a heavy terracotta pot, pinch formed, with an incised design of points, lines, circles and dots. There are chevrons painted in orange slip.
