Illegible marking incised into bottom of vase (VACNOIX 39?).

Thrown stoneware vase glazed a pale canary yellow. Exterior has an incised pattern of vertical lines that has been filled in with a clear green glass-like glaze. Another pattern shaped like small diamonds is stamped onto outside of vase on either side of vertical line pattern.

Object Description
Large, pale, canary yellow vase with a cylindrical neck. Incised pattern of vertical lines resembling grass on outside. Design is filled in with a glass-like clear green glaze. On either side of the vertical line pattern is another pattern of small diamond shapes that have been stamped onto the body of the vase.
