Old number "L1780/24" is written on the backing paper in pencil.

Marks
There are rectangular red ink seals on either side of a break where two sheets of paper come together.

Medium
Black, red, ink, green, brown and white paints brushed onto yellow paper. The paper has a black ink stamped border. The mounted scroll is bordered with a peach silk brocade.

Object Description
Mounted horizontal handscroll of birds and flowers. The birds are perched on cherry or plum blossom branches and on green rocks near pink and red roses. The scene is painted on bright yellow paper.
