Old number "L1780/21" written on the backing paper in pencil.

There is a large oval red ink seal stamped in the upper center of the image. There is a signature along the left edge, just below the rock, and there is a signature along the right edge, just below center. There are three red ink seals stamped in the lower left corner and two red ink seals stamped in the lower right corner. A vertical strip of brocade with characters on it is afixed to the upper right corner on the back.

Cobalt, aqua, red, brown and white paints, and black ink, brushed onto silk. Light grey silk brocade border.

Object Description
Mounted vertical scroll of a scholar in a blue trimmed robe and hat, riding horseback. He is accompanied by two attendants.
