Hollow cast bronze filled with earthenware. It was once gilded.

Object Description
Seated historical Gautama figure, with curly hair and a stupa at the crown of his head. His legs are crossed in lotus, and his right hand is lying across his right knee, with the fingers pointing at the ground (Bhumisparsa Mudra). His left hand is open, and lying in his lap (Dhyana Mudra). A cloak is draped across his left shoulder. The figure is seated on a raised dais.
