1953: Born in Mizuhara city, Niigata Prefecture. He had his solo exhibition for his woodblock print works when he was 18 years old.
1990: moved to Sasakami village in Niigata Prefecture (now Agano City).
He has been active in solo and group exhibitions all over Japan since 1970s such as Japan Independent Exhibition, Peace Art Exhibition.
