Kihei Sasajima studied with Unichi Hiratsuka and Munakata Shiko. His style is influenced by both. Black and white woodblock prints and religious subjects are dominant and the tendancy to experiment with alternative printing methods as Shiko Munakata did. The artist contributed to the Tokyo and Sao Paulo Print Biennales in the 1950s and 1960s.
