Kyoshiro Miyamoto was born in Taiwan in 1915. He did his first solo-exhibition at Marunouchi Gallery in 1960. In 1960-62, he was a member of Nihon Hanga Kyokai. He participated in "The Breakers" exhibition with American and European artists in Florida, 1976-77. He was an active sosaku hanga artist and had published an ex-libris collection. He has many solo-and group exhibitions throughout Japan and overseas.
