b. June 14, 1763 in London, England; d. August 13, 1848 in London, England.
Taught by J. Basire and W. Sharp at the Royal Academy. Engraver in the line manner. Employed in illustrations of many fine publication of his time. Known for his fine portraits of contemporary notabilities. Retired from the practice of art well before his death.
