b. Feb. 8, 1871 in London, England; d. Oct. 15, 1829 in Kent, England
Son of Philippe Dawe (engraver); court painter in Russia (for Emporer Alexander). After he returned to London he was presented to George IV, and gained gradual acceptance. He had many exhibitions at the Royal Academy in London. Portrait painter and engraver.
