Allan Blizzard received his B.A. from the Massachusetts School of Art, M.A. from the University of Arizona, and his M.F.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.
He has been part of the faculty of the Art Department at Scripps College since 1963. He is mainly known for his colorful, abstract prints.
