John Taylor Arms

John Taylor Arms was born in 1887 in Washington, D.C. He trained as an architect, and later turned to the graphic arts (especially aquatints). He studied with Despradelles, Ross Turner, David A. Gregg, and Felton Brown. Arms made many engravings of monuments of medieval architecture in Normandy, Champagne, Bourgogne, Venice and Spain. He died in 1953 in Connecticut.
